Petra was a 16-year-old student in Karvina, a coal mining town near the Beskydy Mountains, when she began modeling in Prague. This is Petra’s sixth appearance in the Swimsuit Issue (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005). She was on the cover in 2003. Petra survived the tsunami that ravaged parts of Asia in December 2004. She returned to modeling last September and devotes much of her time to raising money for tsunami orphans and other victims.
