Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro may have divorced in August, but the two still chat and look forward to bumping into each other at events like Monday’s 2006 Billboard Music Awards.

E News’ Jason Kennedy got a chance to ask Navarro about their relationship and his response was sweet, enthusiastic, and even a little bit provacative: “I talked to her earlier today. We’re gonna hook up backstage and she’s I maintained a great friendship with her and will love her ’til the day I die.”

Doubtful that the two are rekindling any sort of relationship but Carmen did confirm their friendship saying,

“Yeah, we talk on the phone almost every day. And we’ve been able to respect each other throughout this hard time.”
