Gwyneth Paltrow has taken her New York home off the market after just a day amid claims she made unpatriotic comments.

The backtrack over Paltrow and husband Chris Martin’s Manhattan pad which they had listed for $13.75 million coincides with an interview at a press event in Spain, where she is reported to have made “anti-American” comments.

But the actress insists she was misquoted, saying, “I feel so proud to be American. I am a New York girl.”

And her representative insists if it was offered for sale, it was by mistake, telling the New York Daily News, “She just finished decorating most of the place.”
