Vince Vaughn reportedly served up an early Christmas gift to his ex Jennifer Aniston by showing up at her door.

Friends claim the “Swingers” star jetted to California during a break from filming “Fred Claus” to surprise his former love as the actress was preparing to dine with friends on Christmas Eve.

They report romantic Vaughn planned the trip to see if there was any chance of a romance reconciliation.

One pal tells Life & Style that Vaughn stayed at Aniston’s Hollywood Hills home for 90 minutes before driving away but his surprise visit was a pleasant one.

The friend says, “Jen was happy to see Vince. She’s never stopped caring for him. Jen told him, ‘I really care about you, but this is all just too little too late.’ But she said she hoped they could stay friends.”

The couple started dating in the summer of 2005 while filming “The Break-Up,” and officially split up last month. First they film it and then they actually do it. And on top of that Vince has a romp with a sorority girl and tries to deny it. Jen always get broken up with, maybe shes not good in bed?
