Anne Hathaway loved shooting ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ because she would get drunk on the set.

The actress who played the fashion assistant of a demanding fashion editor, portrayed by Meryl Streep says she had a great time filming in Paris, because the producers would ply her with alcohol.

She said: “It was great! They served wine with meals you’d never get that on an American set. Having a glass at midday really took the edge off.”

She said: “I found it superficial at the beginning. I thought fashion was frivolous but now I find it incredibly creative. The film totally changed my feelings towards fashion.”

Well when your treated like shit everyday in the movie, I think at the very least you get drunk by the end of the day. To take off the edge alittle bit.

Anne Hathaway is not worried about gaining weight and staying skinny.

Hathaway insists she has no intention of being pressurized by Hollywood into staying slim and already knows how she will cope if she puts on a few pounds.

She said: “There has always been pressure on actresses, but I will never suffer, because if I gain weight I will just become a character actress.”

Hathaway admits her Italian lover Raffaello Follieri, who she has been dating since 2004, is far more fashion conscious than her and regularly picks out the outfits she wears.

She said: “I go to my boyfriend for help to pick out everything. He is Italian so has the perfect taste. For me, style is just throwing on whatever is clean and I’ll probably never change.”

I am glad someone knows how to dress her or else she wouldn’t wear anything else at all. Being naked would be fun and entertaining, but she might not get anymore acting jobs.
