Christina Aguilera and her husband Jordan Bratman are planning to ring in the New Year in style and prove reports their one-year marriage is in trouble at the same time.

The couple are set to host a New Year’s Eve party at New York’s Hudson Hotel with a bunch of friends, according to sources, to end a trying year, which saw the pop superstar on the road and away from her man.

Rumors started swirling about a possible break-up, when both Aguilera and Bratman were spotted partying without each other and without their wedding rings recently.

A friend says, “They’re fine. They talk on the phone all the time. Jordan’s still devoted to Christina and to managing her career.”

New Year’s Eve will be a busy night for Aguilera will also perform as part of ABC’s annual “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” show.

I never saw them quite together really. From what I heard awhile ago Christina only liked black guys, and then one day I hear shes marrying Jordan. Maybe she should go back to going with the brothers.
