Lindsay Lohan has been left battered and bruised by hours of intensive pole-dancing in preparation for her latest film role.

Lindsay has been cast as a stripper in new film I Know Who Killed Me.

And she told the NY Post: “Three hours of pole-dancing and bruised everywhere. I mean we’re talking upper and inner thigh action-bruised - like a walking black-and-blue mark. I mean really though, really, I didn’t know it was actually possible to have bruises in such areas of the body. Strippers dude, I tell you, I really respect them now. I’m not gonna lie to you.”

The star’s representative Leslie Sloane Zelnik added: “She’s been in rehearsals for the film and has been taking classes from Sheila Kelly. Her character is a stripper, and she now realizes that the job isn’t easy. We should give these women credit.”

Lindsay just doesnt surprise me anymore like Paris Hilton, they can be in the most random place doing any random thing nowadays. Doesnt phase anyone, because their wildcats.

Lindsay Lohan had a good reason to be late for a holiday party at Hollywood club Shag in on Monday. “I just left an AA meeting,” she told People. She was attending a party for Nefarious Fine Jewelry’s Holiday Celebration and unveiling of their Spring 07 line. When Lindsay left she was wearing over $30k worth of Nefarious jewelry; including diamond and rose gold sunglasses and a skull ring with a large diamond in the head!

“I’ve been going to AA, for a year by the way. It’s no one’s business. That’s why it’s anonymous! I haven’t had a drink in seven days. Or anything. I’m not even legal to, so why would I? I don’t drink when I go to clubs. I drink with my friends at home, but there’s no need to. I feel better not drinking. It’s more fun. I have Red Bull. I didn’t feel bad before. I never felt bad. I just wanted to, like, find a balance. I was out too much. I was too caught up. I mean, I’m 20 years old. I was off from work, I was getting ready to start a film, and I was like going out just to get it out of my system. I was going out too much and I knew that, and I have more to live for than that.”

Lohan said she hopes to shift the focus from her partying to her career. “I was like, I don’t want to be written about at these clubs with these people. I work, I act, I have a living. That’s what I do every day. I work every single day.”

TMZ has learned that Nicole Richie was arrested for DUI early Monday morning. She was booked at 4:50 AM today and was released 45 minutes ago. The booking sheet reveals Richie is 5′1″ and 85 lbs.

Law enforcement officers tell TMZ, Nicole Richie admitted she had taken Vicodin and smoked pot.

A rep for Richie could not immediately be reached for comment.

We’re told her SUV was spotted by two motorists going the wrong way on the 134 Freeway in Burbank. The drivers called 911. When the CHP responded, Richie was stopped in the carpool lane and was alone in the vehicle. When cops approached the vehicle, Richie was on her cellphone.

Her booking revealed that she is shockingly only 85 lbs. So much for cleaning up her act. Let’s hope this cry for help makes Nicole really get straight this time.

The Smoking Gun has a copy of Nicole Richie’s DUI booking sheet from this morning and compared it to her booking sheet from February 2003 when she was arrested for heroin possession. Apparently in the three year span between arrests she’s shrunk one inch, lost 5 lbs, and changed from white to black.
