Natalie Portman is being lined up to play Indiana Jones’ daughter in the fourth and final movie adventure to star Harrison Ford as the daredevil archaeologist. The Perfect Storm star Karen Allen, who is expected to reprise her Marion Ravenwood role in the upcoming Indiana Jones movie, let the news slip about Star Wars heroine Portman at a question-and-answer session in New York on Friday.

Allen spoke to Indiana Jones fans after a screening of Raiders of The Lost Ark, and, although she was coy about her own part in the fourth film, she revealed Portman’s name is being mentioned. She told fans, “I just heard Natalie Portman was cast as Indy’s daughter.” One fan in attendance says, “She (Allen) immediately changed the subject as if she knew she shouldn’t have said anything.”

Natalie Portman appears nude in her new movie. The stunning actress will be seen completely naked during torture scenes in the upcoming historical drama ‘Goya’s Ghosts‘, which focuses on revered artist Francisco Goya.

Portman plays Goya’s muse, Alicia, who becomes embroiled in a scandal after she is accused of being a heretic by a monk.

It is not the first time Portman has stripped off for a movie role.

She previously exposed her body in the complex romantic drama ‘Closer‘, which also starred Jude Law, Julia Roberts and Clive Owen, but the explicit scenes were eventually cut.

Natalie Portman claims actresses who go to Hollywood to get rich are no better than prostitutes.

The ‘V for Vendetta’ star insists she only takes on roles based on their artistic merit and says she would never agree to be in a film just because she was offered a large fee.

She said: “I don’t want to ever be working for money because then you are no different to a prostitute.”

The screen beauty - who starred in the money spinning ‘Star Wars’ prequels - also revealed going to college was the best thing she’s ever done.

Portman - who once said she would “rather be smart than a movie star” - says her experiences at America’s prestigious Harvard University taught her to have a life outside of Tinseltown.

She told Britain’s Independent newspaper: “I have the most amazing friends in the world, who are doing such interesting and different things, and are their own people. They are my support base along with my parents. They are inspiring and always doing different, interesting things so I remember how to be a person by being around them.

“Like, you can play a person if you are a person in real life. It’s hard to be like, ‘I just pretend to be a human being on TV!’ So the most important thing about college is that now I really have a life and I’ve got that forever.”
