Mandy Moore has taken a swipe at boyfriend DJ AM’s former fiancee Nicole Richie for her stick-thin appearance.

The-22-year-old singer suffered from depression after splitting from “Scrubs” star Zach Braff in November, but she has recently been photographed kissing Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein.

Moore tells Seventeen magazine, “Oh, God! I tell you what, in this industry it’s my job to look a certain way or what not and it’s weird for men, too. But I’m much happier to present this type of person. I’m not Nicole Richie. I’m not like a toothpick, and I never will be. I’m just a regular-looking person and that’s OK. It’s taken awhile to come to grips with that since it’s definitely not the norm in my business.”

“But, like, who cares? If anything, that makes someone more special. Or at least that’s what I tell myself.”

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden doing absolutely nothing together. Since he makes crapping music that no one likes anymore because Good Charlotte is yesterdays news. And Nicole she hasn’t done anything since simple life with Paris. So basically they are great for each other two losers hanging out and in love. Beer anyone!

She sure loves DJs. Although Joel is more known for his band and his ex, Hilary, it looks like he may want to have a whole new image in 2007. Nicole looked happy and even healthier as she shimmered in her silver mini dress.

• Talk about out with the old: Britney Spears will usher in the New Year with a bash at Caesars Palace’s PURE nightclub – the backdrop for Kevin Federline’s “Lose Control” video. Ouch!
• Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden will take over the deejay booth at Ghostbar on the 55th floor of the Palms Casino Resort. Will new squeeze Nicole Richie be there to kiss him at midnight?
• Battle of the exes: Pamela Anderson will host a bash at Tao at the Venetian while her soon-to-be ex-husband Kid Rock parties across the street at The Mirage’s Jet nightclub – and first husband Tommy Lee performs with Rock Star: Supernova at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

NEW YORK CITY:

• In Times Square, Carson Daly will count down to midnight on NBC’s New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly, featuring a performance by rockers Panic! At the Disco, while Christina Aguilera belts in the New Year for ABC’s Ryan Seacrest-hosted Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.
• After her Times Square show, Aguilera will head over to the Hudson Hotel to guest host a party co-sponsored by Heineken (her husband, Jordan Bratman, already requested eight cases Heineken Light).
• Mira Sorvino will party with The Sopranos’ Federico Castelluccio as well as Elias Koteas, Caroline Rhea and her dad, Paul Sorvino, at Nikki Beach Midtown.

Nicole Richie is with Joel Madden as the most important person in the life of Good Charlotte.

Sources close to Richie say she is “moving stuff out of her West Hollywood condo into his Glendale home,” and Joel’s bandmate, brother, and next-door neighbor Benji is “furious.” The source also said Joel and Nicole “have already become inseparable, and spend almost every night together.” Richie is expected to join Madden when he deejays on New Year’s Eve at the Palms Hotel in Vegas far from Madden’s ex, Hilary Duff, who will celebrate ‘07 at the DKNY Jeans Bash at the Setai in Miami.

At least shes moved on from DJ AM, since he only wanted was her fame. Maybe he should of stayed fat and had somemore cupcakes. My treat.
