Petra was a 16-year-old student in Karvina, a coal mining town near the Beskydy Mountains, when she began modeling in Prague. This is Petra’s sixth appearance in the Swimsuit Issue (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005). She was on the cover in 2003. Petra survived the tsunami that ravaged parts of Asia in December 2004. She returned to modeling last September and devotes much of her time to raising money for tsunami orphans and other victims. If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. As Page Six reported last month, Bruce Willis was very eager to get tsunami model Petra Nemcova’s number - finally scoring it after he donated a large amount to her charity. Since then, the two have kept in touch. Nemcova has told pals: “He’s been really sweet to me, but I wouldn’t call it dating,” while Willis has told pals the two are dating. A rep for Nemcova declined to comment. We’ll see if she shows up to the premiere of “16 Blocks” tonight.
