Shannon Elizabeth’s estranged husband, Joseph Reitman, has sued the actress, claiming they had a deal to split everything 50/50 during the five years they lived together before marrying.

TMZ interviewed Reitman after the couple broke up in April, 2005. Reitman talks about his heartache — that he wouldn’t wish the sadness on his worst enemy.

Emotions aside, business is business. In the lawsuit, Reitman alleges that between 1997 and 2002 (when they married), they bought homes and acquired lots of property, including art, furniture and collectibles.

Reitman, who acted in films including ‘Drop Dead Sexy’ and ‘Choices’, claims he’s been had by Elizabeth, who became famous with her roles in ‘American Pie’ and ‘Scary Movie.’ The lawsuit claims the actress, “secreted and transferred assets and investments.” Reitman wants a judge to enforce their alleged oral, 50/50 arrangement
